About the camp

Malagash Bible Camp provides a life-changing experience for children, youth and families.

Our non-denominational camp is located on the beautiful Northumberland strait shore with 48 acres of trees, recreational fields and a sandy beach for you to explore. For more then 50 years, MBC has welcomed campers to experience a summer of making new friends, growing in faith and experiencing God’s truth for today’s world. Malagash continues to provide affordable Christian summer camps that share God’s love and desire for all people to know and follow after Jesus.

A typical day at camp

Summer camp days start with breakfast, then we join together in interactive worship, drama, and teaching with one of our special speakers. Daily electives such as canoeing, archery, drama, sports (soccer, hockey, basketball), or crafts conclude the morning. After lunch, children and youth go into group games, beach time, and free time. Our tuck shop offers delicious ice cream and snacks during the afternoons. The day ends with evening chapel and oftentimes a campfire. No wonder why your kids come back to you happy but exhausted!

Families join in on the fun

The sun is shining and you sit overlooking a beautiful ocean. Lifeguards and trained staff are looking after the children, the dinner table is being set, and our guest speaker is preparing an uplifting message. The sound of an acoustic guitar and djembe drum can be heard amidst the laughter and singing. What better way to spend the day, and the week?
