Martin and Candice MainMartin and Candace

Martin and Candice are very pleased to be among the team working at Malagash this summer and are most looking forward to seeing campers experience the love of Jesus. For both Candice and Martin, camp has played a huge role in their spiritual journey. Martin was first a camper at Malagash, then a volunteer for 5 years, and full-time staff in 2013. He has worked doing maintenance and facility management at Camp Nakamun and Kingswood Camp, and is now the Property Manager of the beautiful grounds of Malagash Bible Camp for summer 2016. Currently, Martin is working towards a Computer Science degree at Acadia University. Candice grew up going to Awana Scholarship Camp in Ontario and has worked at Kingwood Camp for the last three summers as Program Director and as the Launch Leadership Director. She is the Assistant Manager at Malagash Bible Camp for summer 2016. After graduating with a degree in Kinesiology from Acadia in 2015, Candice has been working with the Valley Care Pregnancy Centre, a Christian ministry, over the past year. Starting in September she will be working towards a Bachelor of Theology at the Acadia Divinity College. Candice and Martin are passionate about camp ministry and the amazing way God uses camp to draw people closer to him. In the future they hope to continue to be involved in camp ministry.
